Drew Mysteries" Mystery on the Avalanche Express

go to Budapest, Hungary to see a friend named Paul (Fabian) on a
ski tournament on a train they're riding on to travel there. Also
a woman named Gina Bartelli (Deborah Walley) is running away from
a couple of thugs whom are after her luggage which carries something
they want but tries to cover up by making out like she was a friend
of the Hardy's. Nancy and Gina's luggages are alike and Gina asks
her for change for a pay phone and then places something in her
hand and accidentally take each others luggage by mistake which
has her travellers cheques, passports and everything else. On the
train through Eastern Europe (from Budapest, Hugary to Altair),
the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew encounter the thugs who think Nancy
has something they want. Nancy opens the bag and sees a picture
of Gina and her brother and Nancy tries to find her in the train
hoping to find her. Then she's cornered by the two thugs looking
for Gina's bag and threatens to throw Nancy off the train unless
she gives them what they want in the luggage but Frank disturbs
them by walking into the car Nancy's cornered by the criminals and
then Frank, Nancy and Bess try to look into the luggage to find
out what those criminals were looking for and find nothing valuable
but some of her personal belongings and coins but there's letters
in the luggage which gives them clues for all the commotion it's
creating. Later they find Gina in the train and explains to them
about the luggage switching and the reasons why. Then one of the
thugs spot her and she runs to the back of the train and still tries
to get away from them by going on the top of the passenger car and
the thug tries to go on top and shoots her but Joe stops him by
pulling his arm away and shoots in mid air which creates an avalanche
as the train is going by a rocky mountain hillside. Nancy and the
boys find out what the thugs want from Gina which is a 1913 nickel
coin she has that's worth alot of money. Dangerous situations ensue,
and there is also a defector aboard who wants to get out of his
